The heating wires wrap around both sides of your forefoot rather than sitting directly on top of your toes. Tuck the rechargeable power bank into the pocket at the top of each sock, hold the button to turn it on, and tap again to cycle through four heat levels. Four green lights on each battery show your remaining charge from one light at 25 percent up to four lights at full power.

Each battery holds 5,000 milliamp hours and runs up to seven hours on the lowest setting. The heat ranges from 113°F on level one to 140°F on the highest setting. The stretchy blend with 72 percent cotton fits foot lengths from 8.7 to 10.6 inches.

The terry knit fabric stays soft against your skin all day. The side mounted heating wires bend and flex with your feet better than wires placed across your toes. You can wash them by hand or toss them in the machine using a mesh bag after removing the batteries.
